29 Palms is a city. Most of the time it's a dry heat, but on days when it's 110 and humid...oh man, I want to die! I've lived here my entire life though...just happened to fall in love with someone who was stationed here
Hopefully we'll be leaving soon!!! |

Shows how much I know about California. What military base is there.. or close by. _________________ At the end of the day, you either focus on

29 Palms is the name of the MCB Palm Springs is the nearest City. Been there, done that. Might even still have a teeshirt or two. _________________ Please note the joking sarcasm MOST of my posts are riddled with, before you let shit fly from your pie! |

I'm not a big dog person, but my neighbor just got a Jack Russell Terrier puppy a few weeks back and she is the sweetest, cutest thing in the whole world. Never barks and she was the runt of the litter so she is going to stay pretty small it looks like. |

While I would recommend researching any breed before you buy, if you are considering a Jack Russell, I would insist upon it. PasstheTequila's neighbors must have the only JRT on earth that doesn't bark. Could be because it's still a puppy too, but as a breed they are known for it. They also are not good with kids, can be aggressive and hard to train, and have TONS of energy! I volunteer at a shelter and they get lots of drop offs with this breed because people think that they won't require as much work because of their size. Don't get me wrong, in their element they can be great animals, but I wouldn't recommend putting them in a city/apartment setting or for a first time dog owner. It just breaks my heart when good dogs get abandoned buy a perfectly suitable family/home because they didn't research the breed and had no idea what they were getting into. |

Yikes! They must have gotten lucky then 'cause she's the most chill little thing ever. My mom's lab "puppy" (almost 2 now) is 100x more obnoxious! |

That's funny. Between me and my parents we've owned 6 dogs, all different breeds, and the most obedient dog is by far my parents lab. |

They are sorta like kids... it is ALL in how you raise them.
Most Jack Russells I've EVER been around.... jump and bark and jump and bark and run around and jump and run and bark... get my point? _________________ At the end of the day, you either focus on

Reminds me of my friend's boyfriend dog. So lovable, he'd always run to me and try to jump on me. It was a bit scary because he was bigger than me and to top it off he was trained in Russian. _________________ "The woman who knew that I had dyslexia - I never interviewed her." - George W. I wish someone would tell me what my current dog speaks. She is CRAZINESS sometimes. I love her to death but she has a horrid habit of sniffing the back of your leg... then... almost sneezing on it. SOOO gross. UGH.
Anyone know how to say " STOP THAT SHIT!!" iin doggie? _________________ At the end of the day, you either focus on
